The 'Brains in Action' projectDuring the three years 2016-2019, four schools worked together on the Erasmus+ project 'Brains in Action'. The aim of this project was to motivate highly intelligent pupils by offering them extra challenges beside the regular curriculum.
In total, there were five project meetings. The first and last project meetings only involved teachers, who worked on the organisation and the evaluation of the proejct. In the three other project meetings, students from the four participating schools came together. Each project meeting focused on a different topic: sciences, language and human science. |

During the first meeting, the plans for the 'Brains in action' project were made up in Slovenia by teachers from the participating schools.
The theme for the project meeting involving students, in Germany, was science. Participating students and teachers were involved in several activities.
The project meeting in Belgium focused on human science and politics.
In Sweden the project meeting was focused on language and culture.
The final project meeting in Germany, in which only teachers participated, focused on summaries, evaluations and reports.
